Global Incubator Program
– Video Gaming
Powered by La Piscine and in collaboration with Innovate UK, the Global Incubator Program – Video Gaming will run from fall 2026 through spring 2027. The program is designed to deepen the understanding of the Canadian market for UK companies in the video game industry.
Innovate UK is the United Kingdom innovation agency. In 2026, Innovate UK designated the creative industries as one of its six priority sectors.
Their mission? To support cutting-edge companies by guiding them from their startup phase through their growth and expansion. By providing these companies with funding, expertise, and networking opportunities, they help creative companies reach their full potential on the international market.
Since 2015, La Piscine has positioned itself as an integral actor in the development of the creative economy and has supported over 600 businesses. Combining personalized support, sector-specific expertise, and a network of experts and partners within the Canadian ecosystem, it was selected by Innovate UK to lead this program and facilitate connections between international creative ecosystems.
By joining forces and drawing on their expertise in the creative and cultural industries, the Global Incubator Program – Video Gaming was designed to provide the best possible support to a cohort of six companies from the United Kingdom.
The Global Incubator Program – Video Gaming, powered by La Piscine in collaboration with Innovate UK, is designed to help UK companies validate their expansion strategy for the Canadian market through a combination of expert mentoring, collaborative workshops, market visits to meet with Montreal’s creative ecosystem, and strategic development activities.
Rather than focusing solely on market entry, the program offers participants the opportunity to explore, validate, and refine the growth strategy best suited to their business. The program is intentionally designed as a progressive journey where each activity builds upon the previous one.
