Leadership au Féminin is a coaching program designed specifically for women entrepreneurs in the creative and cultural industries who want to strengthen their leadership skills and define the strategic development of their company.

This unique program is built around themed group days featuring stimulating exchanges with other women entrepreneurs and industry leaders, as well as group and individual work sessions. The program brings together in a single cohort some twenty ambitious women entrepreneurs, determined to grow their organizations.

Are you the founder and/or manager of an innovative company in the creative and cultural industries? Would you like to equip yourself to accelerate your company’s growth, while maximizing networking with other women creative entrepreneurs? This program is for you!

THE PROGRAM GIVES ACCESS TO :

 

4 days of group work

  • Leadership and corporate strategy (growth strategy and tools for strategic decision-making and risk-taking)
  • Leadership and corporate finance (sustainable financial management, sources of financing and investment approach)
  • Leadership and organizational culture (corporate culture, inspirational leadership, inclusion and diversity)
  • Leadership and communication (the art of negotiation, assuming and expressing expertise)

 

 

Unprecedented exchanges with recognized and inspiring leaders in the creative industries.

Additional expertise (up to 15 hours) may be allocated to certain participants depending on their specific leadership challenges (subject to validation by the selection committee).

All thematic activities transversal to La Piscine cohorts (ecosystem day, networking events, etc.)

FOR WHO?

This program is designed for anyone who self-identifies as a woman in a management position :

  • Within a company operating in one of SODEC’s sectors of activity (Audiovisual; Books and Publishing; Art Trades and Art Market; Music and Entertainment; Digital) in Quebec ;
  • In an innovative company (tech, organizational, social, business model, etc.) ;
  • With growth potential by demonstrating proof of market traction (already customers or proof of market interest);
  • With at least 2 full-time employees.

FOR WHAT?

  • Define and challenge the strategic elements of your business to structure and accelerate growth;
  • Strengthen your leadership posture through the adoption of best practices and tools in corporate strategy, organizational culture, business management, communication, etc. ;
  • Exchange with other female entrepreneurs and become part of a community giving access to a wider network of professionals, mentors, peers and other stakeholders in the creative industry.

Practical details

  • Dates : April to June 2024 (group coaching) and until October (individual coaching)
  • Price : 500$ + participation taxes required from the organizer, plus an additional 400$ for the individual component (if applicable).
  • Language : the program can be deployed in French.
  • Format : the program is presented in a hybrid format (face-to-face and distance learning).

Who can apply?

PROGRAM ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA :

  • Person who self-identifies as a woman in a management position in a CCI company or non-profit organization in Quebec.
  • SODEC’s sectors of activity: Audiovisual; Books and publishing; Arts and crafts; Music and entertainment; Digital.
  • Innovative company (tech, organizational, social, business model, etc.)
  • Have growth potential by demonstrating market traction (existing customers or evidence of market interest)
  • At least 2 full-time employees in the company

What are my commitments regarding the course?

Participants are asked to make several commitments:

  • A financial contribution of $500 and an additional contribution of $400 (i.e. $900) for organizations receiving individual support;
  • Active participation in group workshops and exchanges, as well as participation in individual exchanges (if applicable).

What exactly do we do on a theme day?

In the morning, a 90-minute workshop will address a specific topic implemented through case studies with an expert in a highly interactive format.

In the afternoon, round-table discussions will be held with other participants and inspiring speakers from the creative and cultural industries.

How much does the program cost?

A financial contribution of $500 and an additional contribution of $400 (i.e. $900) for organizations receiving individual support.

Who in my organization can take part in the workshops?

Only two people can participate in the workshops, the program is designed so that it is the same people throughout the course.
